More About COPE:

COPE is an event that offers participants a glimpse into the lives of low-income individuals and families living in our community; the obstacles they are faced with; decisions that are made and the consequences that impact these families every day.

The CareSource Foundation has partnered with Think Tank to develop this relevant, up-to-date kit which was co-designed with low-income individuals who shared their story so that participants could gain greater understanding.  COPE has been used to help many organizations and communities across the nation work more effectively with low-income families and understand and address the issues of poverty more comprehensively.

The October 29 Event:

Attorneys, law school students, paralegals, paralegal students, and others in the community will be given a tremendous opportunity to come together, experience poverty first-hand, and bring this new found understanding into their practices, their pro bono service, and their consciousness.

Thanks to the generous support of the Eichelberger Foundation, VLP is able to add a one hour CLE to the agenda, with the entire event being FREE to attendees (including parking).
